About Toby

Coach Toby is an American mixed martial artist, grappler and kickboxer of Japanese and Mexican descent. A professional from 1998 until 2013, Coach Toby competed for Bellator, King of the Cage, and the RFA. Coach Toby won the 2009 Submission of the Year award for an inverted triangle choke, defeating Jorge Masvidal. He is a black belt in Judo and a black belt in Jiu Jitsu. His MMA record consists of 30 wins, and 18 losses, and has competed all over the world including Japan, Abu Dhabi, & Costa Rica.
